Head of Client Services · Jarrett Digital
Remote, with one day a week near Bristol. £55,000 to £65,000. Employed or contract.
Apply for this roleI run a Google Ads consultancy, not an agency. Around 30 clients, most of them in the US, almost all in professional services: law firms, medical practices, trades and B2B. We're growing quickly, and there's one part of that growth I can no longer hold on my own: making sure every client feels genuinely looked after.
To be honest with you, this is not a Google Ads job. You won't build campaigns or write ad copy. Our team owns the accounts, and our Head of Coaching owns the quality of the work. What we don't yet have is one person who owns the client relationship across the whole book. That's this role.
When a client signs, there's a quiet fortnight while we build and the ads warm up. That's exactly when a client starts to wonder if they made a mistake.
I want clients who feel held from day one, who hear about problems before they become emails, and who stay for years because the experience is calm and the communication is honest. That's what you'd own.
You've done this in an agency or consultancy. You've held a portfolio of client relationships, kept clients who were ready to walk, and built the systems that made good service repeatable rather than lucky.
You're commercially sharp, calm under pressure, and you take ownership without being chased. You're an excellent communicator in writing and on a call, and comfortable holding relationships with US clients across time zones.
You do not need to be a Google Ads expert. The team handles the technical work.
We're a remote team, spread across a few countries, and we judge people on impact, not hours at a desk. You won't be micromanaged. You'll be trusted to own outcomes.
Mostly remote, with one day a week (Tuesdays) in our office near Weston-super-Mare, so you'll need to be within commuting distance for that day. A calm place to work, good clients, and a firm rule about not taking on difficult ones.
I'd rather read three honest answers than fifty generic CVs, so please answer the questions below in your own words. This is genuinely how I'll decide who to speak to.
